Best Solar Lights for Garden

Today, I’m looking specifically for solar lights for the garden. These might be pathway or just plain garden solar lights. Either way, I’m looking for the best style, brightness and illumination for the dollar.

Earthtech Products has a set of two stainless steel solar garden lights generically called Bright Solar Lights. You’ve got to love the fact their emphasizing brightness as solar lighting is notoriously dimmer than wired. Lights 15 to 20 feet of space and will stay light for 10-12 hours when fully charged (better than most). Has natural white LED bulbs.

SpheralSolar.com had a set of 2 Copper Dome Solar Lights for $24.97. When installing these for the first time, it’s a good idea to make sure you know where you want them as the stake that you drive into the ground looks removable. This means that if you decide to “replant” them, the stake cover likely comes off and you’ll have to dig and reattach it. One reviewer mentioned the high quality the Copper Dome’s brought to the table.

I also couldn’t help but notice the Intermatic Metal Garden Light at Sears.com. This has a beautiful black chrome finish to complement its frosted glass globe. Sears doesn’t give anymore description to the item, but the black chrome coat is very sleek but at the same time elegant.

At SolarLightStation.com, I found the Cypress Solar Light set. I’m a sucker for frosted lenses when it comes to style so I liked the Cypress lights. These also aren’t your typical garden solar lights because they have a stake to drive in your garden or pathway but also a wall mount should you decide to put them in the deck. I know we’re just talking about solar powered garden lights in this blog, but I had to mention this feature. These two were $84.99.

Target surprisingly also has solar power garden light section. I didn’t particularly like how these looked, but if you’re looking for pure functionality or just like rings around your casing, the Copper-Clad Solar Garden Light is made of very heavy duty aluminum and are a noteworthy option. What compelled me to include these was Target.com says these provide up to 18 hrs of “evening illumination” when charged. Now, I don’t know about you but I haven’t seen that kind of talk anywhere. The longest lasting solar garden lighting claim I’ve seen is for up to 12 hours. This does look like it’s one solar powered garden light for $49.99.
